A more modern/dynamic British sound

The Morgan AC20 is one of several amps that share lineage with vintage "British" amps like the Vox AC30, but the Morgan has a more prominent low end, smoother treble, and (in my opinion) lends itself better to a variey to playing styles. Although I do not have the original (I think it goes for around $2,000), this Amalgam capture of that amp is fantastic. I'm finding that whereas I grew up playing thinking that I had to find a "Vox" sound or a "Fender" sound, there are a lot of expensive amps that can really cover both territories, or otherwise sound great in their own right. This amp can do chime, but it can also do fuller, rounded cleans, and the "edge-of-breakup" stuff is also terrific. Instant classic.

Simply beautiful

Until I bought this on Saturday my favourite capture was the TK Imperial, this is even better for my needs. I've always liked the AC20 sound and it was my favourite profile on my Kemper Stage, this eclipses that. I tend to use the cleaner tones with assorted drives in front and it responds really well to playing dynamics. This and the Tone King are all I need for my music.
